RESEARCH INTEREST
My research focuses on understanding how information is coded in signals and later perceived and processed by the receiver, and what is the relationship between information content of the signal and signal evolution. I study communication and decision making in a wide range of biological systems, including birds (Rallidae) and insects (Orthoptera).
